Today, I’m announcing the launch of my art store. This has been in the works for a very long time, and thanks to my brother, it’s finally coming to life. Thank you, my dear brother, for helping me make one of my long-time dreams a reality!
Why MVP?
Launching with a MVP (Minimum Viable Product) allows me to bring my art to you sooner rather than later. In the world of startups, the MVP is a version of a product with just enough features to be functional – the “must have” rather than the “should have” and “nice to have” features:
- User-Friendly Interface: Browse the collection with ease. Our store is designed to be simple and intuitive.
- Secure Checkout: Your security is our priority. Enjoy a smooth and safe checkout process with multiple payment options.
For my art store, this also means starting with a minimum number of products. This approach will help me expand the art print collection based on your feedback.
What’s in Store?
- Curated Art Prints: The first series is composed of three images generated from my video work “Euphoria or One Piece Always Missing.” The images come in museum-quality art prints that you can frame yourself, as well as framed and matted, ready-to-hang museum-quality art prints.
Euphoria or One Piece Always Missing: Created and presented in 2002 at Nieuw Millennium in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, as a dance performance. It was later developed into a video piece and screened in over 15 European countries as part of Euroscreen21.
By supporting my art store, you’re buying a piece of meaningful art – originally created as non-commercial art – that captures my heart and mind at a specific time and place. You’re also contributing to the creation of new work. Currently, the sale proceeds will be invested in the production of a new performance, “Rhinoceritis in the Making,” to be presented at Pausa Art House on May 1st, 2025.
