You may have noticed – or maybe not – the new tagline for my blog: In search of meaning. As I take small steps to improve my blog’s SEO, I’ve discovered how a tagline can bring clarity. Initially, I didn’t think I needed one. After all, the title itself seems self-explanatory. Yet, here I am, discovering that sometimes, even the obvious needs restating.
In search of meaning is more than just a tagline – it’s a reminder of why I write. Every post is a reflection, a step on this journey of exploring moments that matter and tracing the experiences that continue to shape me. It’s about understanding what has happened and making sense of what’s happening now. Meaning doesn’t simply arrive – it’s something we create as we reflect, interpret, and reframe our experiences. Behind each story we build lies a deeper truth.
This search for meaning has always been at the heart of my art. In every performance, scene, and brushstroke, I’ve tried to unravel my journey through time and space. This lifelong quest has been a way to make sense of the world, to give voice to what words alone cannot express. For me, it’s about defining the undefinable and making sense of what doesn’t make sense.
We all create our own meanings from the stories we live. Some become defining, while others fall away with time. As Halloween approaches, a time when we embrace the unknown and confront our fears, I invite you to pause. Look deeply at your experiences, trace the threads of meaning running through them, and weave a narrative that becomes your own theatre of truth(s).
Just as we put on costumes and share ghost stories, let us also celebrate the stories within ourselves – the deeper truths waiting to be uncovered.
