I woke up this morning feeling what I can only describe as a funk. You know, that feeling when you’re just not in the mood to do anything and everything feels out of place.
But after breakfast, something shifted. I don’t know what it was exactly, but I suddenly had this urge to start designing the flyer for my upcoming performance, “Rhinoceritis in the Making.” It felt like the right thing to do, like it was calling me.
And I didn’t stop. I was completely absorbed, every detail pulling me in deeper. Before I knew it, the hours had flown by. When I finally looked up, it was already 7pm. It’s funny how time disappears when you do the work you feel drawn to!
The process of graphic design became so much more. I wasn’t just making a flyer, I was trying to capture the essence of the performance. Creating this flyer was like setting the stage for the performance itself—capturing the vibe and mood it would bring to the audience.
Sometimes, all it takes is following your heart and letting yourself get lost in something that feels right. Even if the day didn’t go as planned and my to-do list went out the window, I managed to get out of the funk zone.

“Rhinoceritis in the Making” flyer is 90% complete—just that 10% left to make sure everything is just right.
And with less than two months until the performance, why not grab your ticket now?
